Presentation of the variety LORY® INOGOpbr on 3 sites

During September, NOVADI organized 3 visits of experimentation orchards or producer orchards, to present the variety LORY® INOGO_pbr, bred by INRAE and managed by NOVADI.

These visits took place :

Tuesday, September 21 at the CTIFL in LANXADE,
Monday, September 27 at IFO,
Monday, October 4 at EARL COCCINELLE.

LORY® INOGO_pbr is a yellow apple variety, resistant to common strains of scab and low sensitivity to powdery mildew and rosy apple aphid. This varietý has good overall performance in productivitý, handling, storage, and taste qualitý.

The yellow-colored fruit has good storage potential, with firm and juicy flesh. It has good results in processing trials.

Presentation of NOVADI varieties in Italy

On September 29, 2021, AGRION experimental station was in the spotlight.

NOVADI organized a presentation of GALY® Inobi_pbr, LORY® Inogo_pbr and MANDY® Inolov_pbron Tuesday September 29th at AGRION’s experimental station and in Mr. Giordanino’s organic orchard.

This visit was the opportunity for NOVADI to present its selection program and its work axes. The varieties were then presented in the orchard to discuss the agronomic characteristics of each one.

Many technicians and producers were available during this busy harvest period.

Presentation of MANDY® INOLOVpbr variety at CTIFL of LANXADE

NOVADI organized a visit of CTIFL’s experimentation orchard in LANXADE to present the variety MANDY® Inolov_pbr, bred by INRAE and managed by NOVADI.

MANDY® Inolov_pbris a bright and luminous bicolor variety, adapted to all traditional production areas, appreciated for its ease of orchard management, its productivity and its taste quality.

The experimentation conducted by the CTIFL of LANXADE shows that the variety presents very good adaptations to a diversity of tree management. Thus in 7th F., the results of the management in fruit wall (biaxial plants 3,5 x 1,25) are comparable to the vertical axis (monoaxial 4 x 1m). The best results are recorded in the Aximum® system with biaxial plants (+13%) on Pajam®2 and (+31%) on G11, (identical density 3.5 x 1.25m). With the monoaxial plants in Aximum® management, the G11 rootstock registers marketable productions comparable to the Pajam® 2 Cepiland (density 3,5 x 1m) (source CTIFL of Lanxade).
